In line with our mission to bring relief to vulnerable individuals and families, our team recently carried out an impactful outreach at Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja. On the 22nd of July 2025, The Foundation led by the Group Managing Director of Next Gear Group; Dr. (AMB.) Olusola Owomoyela, The Programs Lead; Dauda Anishiei Esq and the rest of the team, carried out another outreach at the Asokoro District Hospital. During the outreach, we identified patients who were unable to settle their medical bills due to financial hardship. With compassion at the heart of our work, we stepped in to offset some of these bills, ensuring that patients could access the treatment and discharge they urgently needed. This initiative was more than just about paying bills. It was about restoring dignity, easing burdens, and giving families a chance to breathe again in the face of difficult circumstances. To commemorate Sickle Cell Awareness Month 2024, Mercy Drops Foundation is excited to have supported the Beulah Sickle Cell Bi-monthly Clinic with funds to ensure that over 182 Warriors present at the Clinic got enough medications for the next 2 months.

In 2022, Mercy Drops Foundation carried out an outreach project at the Asokoro District Hospital and Police Hospital Garki with the aim of providing financial support to patients who were unable to pay for their immediate medical treatment as a result of financial constraint. The outreach featured the one-off payment of medical bills for some beneficiaries. In May 2023, the Foundation led by the Executive Director in partnership with the Group Managing Director of Next Gear Group carried out another outreach project at the Asokoro District Hospital with the aim of providing financial support to patients who were unable to pay for their immediate medical treatment as a result of financial constraint. This outreach featured; Health Talks by a Health Specialist, sponsorship of vaccination activities and payment of medical bills for some beneficiaries.
